Wednesday June13'Amarillo,TX....Spent most of yesterday getting the privacy curtains fixed, but now we have privacy,easily! Drove to Amarillo today on a Texas back road,at times okay,but at other times not so okay.We did manage to see a lot of Texas small town life,some oil wells pumping, some windmill blades being transported via flat bed trucks..boy are they big!..We plan to go into Albaquerque (where is spell check when you need it?)tomorrow and plan to take the Sandia tramway...then to EOT on Friday. We have played "MIlle Bourne,"'bandit and blackjack while riding down the hi way. This afternoon the kids are at the pool,burning off some energy. Makes them sleep well!!! We have met some very interesting characters on the road,good stories to tell. This is what RVimg is all about,a pleasant way to get to meet folks you would never meet at home,..old SASS cowboys,a couple that has RVed to ALASKA two times and built a bicycle. Based.
